About the Design

This bracelet follows the Gotland-type twisted armring form known from archaeological material found on the island of Gotland, Sweden. Such armrings appear in Viking Age contexts and are commonly described as oath rings or status markers.

The multi-rod twist reflects established Scandinavian metalworking techniques. The raven head terminals reference bird motifs frequently present in Viking decorative art, where ravens appear in both mythological and ornamental contexts.

The substantial weight and dense twisted pattern give the bracelet a solid presence while remaining wearable.
